The judges are looking for work which shows journalistic skill and rigour, is revelatory and which serves the public interest.
For print/online entries, please provide up to three examples of work. Broadcasters can submit up to three clips or one entire programme in support of their entry. A supporting statement of up 500 words must also be included.
Collaborative entries are accepted. Work should have been published between 1 September 2018 and 30 September 2019 and aimed at a UK audience.

Examples of print/online/video work
1. Corruption in UAE arms deal, Wikileaks Sep 28, 2018
2. WikiLeaks say founder Julian Assange is victim of 'extensive spying operation',  Wikileaks April 10, 2019
3. Motion to Dismiss the Second Amended Complaint, by Defendant Wikileaks in DNC v Russian Federaion et al (1:18-cv-03501), Docket #224, PACER, March 04, 2019

Supporting statement
Julian Assange again made a unique contribution to world journalism and world civilization during the award period. Such contribution is evidenced in his collaborative work with Wikileaks which he founded, in statements which he made though others from his arbitrary detention in the Ecuador Embassy in London and from the London jail, in court filings in the UK and the US through counsel, and in news publications about him, relative to his fate as a persecuted journalist.
All of the above should be considered part of Mr Assange’s collaborative journalistic work.
In particular:
1) Wikileaks and Assange March 04, 2019 filing - Motion to Dismiss in DNC v Russian Federation et al (1:18-cv-03501) is a unique journalistic achievement. [1] It led to the July 30, 2019 dismissal with prejudice by US federal court of the DNC racketeering lawsuit, where Wikileaks and Assange were named defendants.  The ruling, stating that the publication of DNC leaks was protected by the First Amendment – Freedom of the Press – was a major contribution to journalism, human rights, and Western civilization. It generated additional news reports worldwide.
Additional examples of notable work include:
2) Wikileaks September 2018 publication - “Corruption in UAE arms deal”, [2] shedding light on the corruption behind a lucrative French/German arms deal with the United Arab Emirates (UAE), weapons that are currently being used to wage a disastrous and genocidal war against the people of Yemen;
3) Wikileaks April 2019 publication -  “WikiLeaks say founder Julian Assange is victim of 'extensive spying operation'”, [3] pertaining to Mr Assange’s ongoing persecution.
By now, Mr Assange is a figure of historic proportions, human rights hero of our generation, one who contributed immensely to the ways people in the UK and worldwide think and perceive the world, in particular – the nature of the regimes in the US and the UK, human rights and freedom of the press in “western democracies”.
The above three examples of publications during the award period generated numerous secondary publications worldwide.
In a world immersed in the “Post-truth Era” and “Fake News”, Mr Assange’s work is characterized by adherence to the Truth.
Mr Assange’s stated goal is clear: “If war can be started by lies, peace can be started by truth.”
People of good faith worldwide join the call for the immediate release of Mr Julian Assange and an immediate end to his persecution!

HRA-NGO’s submissions were incorporated into four (4) UN Human Rights Council Periodic Reports regarding the US (2010, 2015) and Israel (2013, 2018).
The 2010 High Commissioner’s report on the US incorporated by reference the HRA-NGO submission, with the following note:
Corruption of the courts and the legal profession and discrimination by law enforcement in California.
The 2018 High Commissioner’s report on Israel incorporated by reference the HRA-NGO submission, with the following note:
24. HRA-NGO highlighted the serious deterioration in integrity of law and justice agencies as a consequence of the implementation of e-government systems. It affirmed that the validity and integrity of any legal and judicial records of Israel should be deemed dubious at best.
His research has been presented and published in international academic conferences, including Data Mining (2010), Criminology (2012), E-government (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018), Cyber and Law (2018), Global Security (2019), and closed discussion panels in the Israeli Democracy Institute re: “Cyber Authority Bill” and “Fake Election”.
His work was also cited in a textbook on “Machine Learning”:
Data mining of government records - particularly records of the justice system (i.e., courts, prisons) - enables the discovery of systemic human rights violations in connection to generation and publication of invalid or fraudulent legal records by various government agencies.
HRA-NGO’s work has been acclaimed by notable legal and computing experts.
HRA-NGO papers were first filed with Wikileaks in 2010, and in 2016 additional 19 papers were inadvertently incorporated in the Wikileaks Podesta files.
